Good deep red. Aromas of red cherry, spices and crushed stone show a medicinal reserve. Juicy and penetrating, with a distinctly crunchy quality to the slightly tart cranberry and pomegranate flavors. This mineral-driven Corton is youthfully clenched today, even a bit dry. Méo may use a higher percentage of new oak in future vintages to sweeten this wine and allow for more breadth.
