Leoville Las Cases 1982, what an incredible wine

Contrary to previous bottles from the same case, this bottle is absolutely fabulous. Although the bouquet reveals age and full maturity and while the first sip has a bit of metallic taste this bottle is stunning. Everything that followed was truly beguiling beauty. Super feminine richness without any heaviness, after 20 years still like spring, perfectly balanced fruit with some ripe strawberry, red fruit and a remarkable freshness in this super mature beauty. Delicious and classic 1982of great complexity. Only reason not to give a higher score is the fact it has seen its peak and has some first signs of decline. fabulous LLC!
