The 2016 Clos des Chevaliers is an absolutely stunning wine and has to be one of the finest white Burgundies produced in the vintage! The bouquet soars from the glass in a complex and vibrant constellation of delicious apples, pears, lemon blossoms, complex, limestone minerality, hints of the crème patissière to come and a discreet base of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and very refined in profile, with a rock solid core, brilliant focus and grip and a very, very long, very young and promising finish.
