The 2019 Chardonnay McCrea Vineyard is fresh, perfumed and beautifully lifted. Lemon Confit, marzipan, dried flowers and chamomile all grace this gentle, understated Chardonnay from Kistler. Bright mineral notes punctuate the brilliant finish. Floral and saline hints are especially prominent. The McCrea vineyard designate emerges from the portion of the vineyard that is rich in white silica soils, while fruit from the volcanic soils go into the Sonoma Mountain bottling.
