Here there is more evident wood framing the cool, airy and restrained nose of essence of red pinot fruit, lavender, violet, sandalwood and Asian-style tea. A super-sleek, even silky, medium weight flavors brim with both minerality and dry extract where the latter buffers the firm tannic spine shaping the balanced, gorgeously long and youthfully austere finish. As one would reasonably expect, this is still very backward and should amply reward mid to perhaps even longer-term cellaring. In a word, excellent. *Outstanding*
