Domaine Meo-Camuzet, Cros Parantoux 2011

Allen Meadows 93
Meo Camuzet is famous for two reasons actually: obviously one is that he is making some of the greatest and most sought after burgundies in the world: with a line up of the likes of Richebourg, Cros Parantoux, Les Brulees, Clos de Vougeot, Echezeaux and many more famous appellations he clearly has a claim to fame. However the second reason is that Meo Camuzet wines are some of the slowest developing wines made today. They require patience, lots of patience.... and then... finally you will experience what great burgundy really means! The Cros Parantoux is probably one of the two most famous wines made here and each year they compete with the Richebourg for the nr 1 spot of best wine made.
